Photography Course

In June we were very excited to host our first ever photography course at the lodge. This included all accommodation, food and tuition. Sites visited included Mangersta, Callanish, Luskentyre, Rodel, Uig and many more. Our thanks to those who attended and also to Les for the tuition. We will try and share some photos in due course!  We hope to get some more dates in the diary soon for photography courses and we are also considering writing weeks, artist weeks, nature/bird watching weeks, and full board mixed activity weeks. So if you would be interested in any of these please email dickon@uiglodge.co.uk and we will keep you updated with any course/week dates.

Painting at the lodge

Shortly after our photography course in June we had a lovely group of friends who came on a full board basis. There was some fishing, some bird-watching, boat trips, exploring and even some wonderful painting! I will try and attach a photo of the painting activity.  We are considering running some artist weeks at the lodge, either with some tuition or without tuition but an opportunity for people to have some company whilst enjoying a relaxing painting week. If this is of interest please email dickon@uiglodge.co.uk and we will keep you in the loop!

Last week there were two caught on the system. This week we have had 5 so far. Also a large number of trout being caught in both the lochs and sea pools.
