Opening hours: we are now closed for the whole of November. We will open in December for the weekend before and weekend after Christmas. Early booking essential.

Saturday: 12-3pm and 5-8pm
Sunday: 12-3pm

We will then look to have a staggered opening in 2020 starting in mid-February.

We decided to build a restaurant in September 2016. After conducting a survey to gauge local opinion, we applied for a grant from LEADER. We were successful in securing £125,000 from them and also £175,000 from Highlands and Islands Enterprise. We are so grateful to these two organisations for their help, support and guidance. Without these grants and the help of our bank loans we could not have build the restaurant. After a lot of work, such as creating a 450yd track across the land, building finally started in May 2018.

The restaurant is a modern design by Dualchas Architects and has large windows spanning one wall to make the most of the view.
The restaurant will seat up to 40 and we also have a small shop area where we hope to sell our smoked salmon, local craft and goodies.
The restaurant has a focus on fresh and local produce with an emphasis on local seafood.
We hope the restaurant will create jobs locally and also help to serve the increasing tourist trade.
Seumas Macdonald, who lives locally in Aird Uig, has been appointed as head chef.
We are delighted to welcome Kenny Mackay to the team who will be supporting Seumas and also assisting in the management of the restaurant.
