We strongly recommend booking ahead. We don’t take bookings for specific tables i.e. window seats – all of our tables have excellent views over the bay.

Opening Hours
October (A La Carte menu)
Thursday 4pm-7.30pm
Friday and Saturday: Lunch 12pm-2.30pm; Dinner 4.30pm-7.30pm
November
The restaurant will close for the season after Saturday, November 1st. However, our restaurant shop will remain open throughout November, selling Uig Lodge smoked salmon, hot drinks and snacks and locally made goods and spirits.
It is possible to book tables for up to 8 people online. For larger bookings please call us on 01851672334.
Restaurant
Uig Sands is a seafood restaurant, specialising in the incredible fish and shellfish that we have available to us right here on our doorstep. While we will endeavour to cater for dietary requirements or allergies it is not always possible, and we cannot cater for these on the day so we ask that you please let us know or any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
There will be a vegetarian/vegan option, however there will generally only be one choice per course and although we will try our best, we cannot always cater to preferences/dislikes.
Dining With Us
- Fixed Price Menu (May-September): £90 per person
- Children’s Menu (May-September): £40 per child (aged 13 and under). Please request this at the time of booking.
Important Notes:
- Our fixed price menu is designed to be enjoyed as a full experience. We do not offer à la carte options during this period, or price reductions for fewer courses.
- Vegetarian/vegan options will be available, but choices per course will be limited. While we will try our best to accommodate preferences, we cannot always guarantee it.
- While we aim to cater to dietary needs, our ability to do so depends on advance notice. Please communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking.

Last minute change in plans?
Due to our remote location and limited seating, we charge £50 per person for no-shows, reductions in party size, or cancellations made within 48 hours of your booking.
If we successfully re-let your table, we will waive the cancellation fee.
